Simonsen Sussman LLP is Accepting Applications for a Paralegal

June 23, 2026 — Simonsen Sussman LLP, a boutique plaintiff side antitrust and unfair competition law firm founded by former enforcers, is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for a paralegal to join the firm. 

Simonsen Sussman’s attorneys have decades of experience litigating federal and state antitrust and unfair competition laws through government investigations and in private and public actions across the country. The firm represents entrepreneurs, new entrants, small businesses, workers, and state and local governments in complex matters involving concentrated market power and anticompetitive conduct. The firm's work focuses on high impact litigation designed to strengthen competitive markets and protect those harmed by dominant firms.

 The firm is seeking paralegal candidates who are:

  • Highly detail-oriented;

  • Able to multi-task;

  • Efficient and productive; and

  • Able to function productively and professionally in a remote environment.

The ideal candidate is willing and able to do (or learn to do) a variety of tasks and projects, including:

  • Preparing and formatting documents and spreadsheets;

  • Creating forms/templates, e.g., form letters, pleadings for specific courts, etc.;

  • Generating tables of authority;

  • Handling filings, including preparing initial drafts of forms and ensuring conformance with local rules;

  • Document and data productions;

  • Relativity tasks, e.g., mass-tagging, exporting, reporting;

  • Creating and maintaining exhibits and exhibit lists;

  • Helping to prepare for depositions and creating deposition binders;

  • Planning events and booking travel;

  • Managing calendars and files;

  • Turning time entries into invoices;

  • Monitoring reimbursements, invoices, and payments;

  • Organizing recruiting tasks, e.g., interviews, offer letters;

  • Conducting basic Internet research;

  • Creating summaries of phone calls; and

  • Doing basic IT tasks for the firm.

We are looking for a sharp, eager, capable, detail-oriented individual who is excited about our mission and able to learn quickly.

Salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors and is expected to be in a range of $60,000 to $85,000 per year. The paralegal also will be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus dependent upon performance and the firm’s profitability. The position is fully remote, though in-person attendance may be required for specific events such as trials.
