Simonsen Sussman Partnership Welcomes Nico Gurian
Simonsen Sussman is pleased to announce the promotion of Nico Gurian to Partner with the firm.
Nico is a top-notch litigator with experience in both government and the private sector.
Prior to joining the firm, Nico was a Trial Attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice where he represented the United States as lead attorney at both the trial and appellate levels and served on the DOJ’s Trade Fraud Task Force. Before joining the DOJ, Nico was in private practice where he represented whistleblowers under the False Claims Act and the Securities and Exchange Commission’s whistleblower program.
Since joining Simonsen Sussman, Nico has been instrumental in the work of the firm, driving litigation strategy, developing impactful cases, and widening the range of clients the firm serves.
“Nico is exactly the type of professional and colleague we envisioned when building this firm," said Catherine Simonsen, Founding Partner and Chair. "He brings a sharp, agile mind and a genuine passion to his practice, balanced by a collaborative spirit that elevates our entire firm. We are incredibly fortunate that he chose to grow his career with us during our inaugural year.”
Welcome to the partnership, Nico!
