Simonsen Sussman LLP Welcomes Partner Victoria Sims

Simonsen Sussman LLP is pleased to announce that Victoria Sims has joined the firm as a partner in Washington, D.C. Vicky brings over a decade and a half of experience in public and private enforcement of the antitrust laws, both in the context of mergers and anticompetitive conduct.

“We are thrilled to have Vicky join our firm’s partnership and leadership team. Her experience and initiative in driving cases forward, obtaining meaningful injunctive relief for clients, and serving in counsel leadership roles will immediately catalyze our firm’s work on behalf of small businesses and consumers,” said founding partner Catherine Simonsen.

Prior to joining Simonsen Sussman, Vicky served at the Federal Trade Commission in the Mergers II division of the Bureau of Competition, investigating and litigating mergers in various sectors, including consumer products, technology, chemicals, and glass. Before the FTC, Vicky was a partner at a major plaintiff class action law firm, litigating Sherman Act § 1 and § 2 cases on behalf of small businesses and recovering substantial sums and meaningful injunctive relief for her clients.

“With her substantial experience on the plaintiff side, both for the FTC and in the private context, Vicky will play an important role in the portfolio of cases our firm is pursuing,” said founding partner Shaoul Sussman.
