Simonsen Sussman Welcomes Associate Victoria Field
Simonsen Sussman is pleased to announce that Victoria Field has joined the firm as an Associate.
Victoria brings significant government enforcement experience to the firm, having served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Connecticut in the Antitrust Section of the Office of the Attorney General. In that role, she investigated and litigated violations of the Connecticut Antitrust Act and federal antitrust laws, with matters spanning mergers, anticompetitive conduct, and complex investigations across the technology, e‑commerce, healthcare, and entertainment sectors.
In 2025, Victoria was recognized with the Rising Star Award from the National Association of Attorneys General Antitrust Task Force for her contributions to state antitrust enforcement.
Victoria earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and her B.A. from Rutgers University. Before joining the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General, she served as an Antitrust Fellow with the Wisconsin Department of Justice. She has authored three award‑winning publications on pharmaceutical product hopping and criminal antitrust enforcement.
Since 2023, Victoria has volunteered with and held leadership roles in the New York City Bar Association’s Lawyer Assistance Program Committee, supporting initiatives that provide resources and monitoring for lawyers in recovery from addiction and mental health challenges.
Prior to her legal career, Victoria worked as an administrator at Rutgers University, supporting research on New Jersey’s healthcare workforce.
