Overview

Becca Fitzsimmons (Ou) is an Associate at Simonsen Sussman. She previously practiced at a leading multinational law firm, focusing on antitrust litigation and complex commercial disputes across the technology and sports industries. As part of her antitrust practice, she has helped clients navigate the rapidly evolving legal landscape shaped by enforcement activity involving new technologies, including algorithmic pricing tools.

In her pro bono practice, Becca served on the trial team for a civil rights class action that secured, and later defended, a unanimous jury verdict and more than $100 million in damages for the plaintiff class. She has also worked with advocacy groups to protect voting rights.

Becca earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she was a Business Law Fellow. During law school, she interned with the California Attorney General’s Antitrust Section and also served as a legal intern at a cybersecurity SaaS company. Before law school, Becca worked as a compliance specialist for a holding company. She also has a background in public policy, having served as communications director and led constituent services for elected representatives in the New York State Assembly.

Becca holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
