Overview

As an Operations Analyst at Simonsen Sussman, Mikaela supports the firm’s business, operational and technical needs.

Prior to joining the firm, Mikaela was a Business Analyst at an auto care company, where she led software implementation and data migration to optimize business processes. Before that, she was a Business Intelligence Analyst at an industrial manufacturing company, where she developed global enterprise reporting to improve operational efficiency and supported the implementation of an enterprise-wide LLM. She began her career with two internships at IBM, first as a Security Engineer Intern, and then as a Business Analyst Intern.

Mikaela holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. She was a member of Honors Carolina and was named to the Dean’s List. Her studies sparked an interest in the intersection of business and technology, particularly how technology can be leveraged to drive efficiency and growth and solve complex business challenges.
