Overview

As a paralegal for Simonsen Sussman, Lakxshanna provides research and case support to the firm's legal teams in their work on antitrust enforcement matters.

Prior to joining Simonsen Sussman, Lakxshanna interned with the New York State ConnectALL Office, supporting digital equity policy and broadband access initiatives across the state. She also interned at Microsoft through the New Technologists program, acting as a product manager and software engineer to build prototypes for community-oriented products.

Lakxshanna holds a B.A. from Yale University in Ethnicity, Race & Migration and Computer Science, with a minor in Human Rights Studies. Her coursework sparked an interest in the intersection of technology and policy, with particular attention to algorithmic fairness, racial bias, and how market practices affect marginalized communities. Lakxshanna was also President of the Yale Photography Society and enjoys working with historical archives and documentary filmmaking.
