Overview
Eri is an Associate at the firm. A litigator with an interdisciplinary background, Eri has litigated and provided strategic counsel in complex federal and state court litigation spanning a wide range of subject matter areas. Prior to joining the firm, Eri was an Associate at two leading U.S. law firms. Her pro bono practice has involved immigrant rights advocacy such as representation of asylum-seekers and impact litigation including voting rights and Section 1983 civil rights litigation.
Eri clerked for Judge Barrington D. Parker of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She graduated from Yale Law School, where she was a student director of the Peter Gruber Rule of Law Clinic, a teaching fellow for civil procedure, and a legal intern at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. Before attending law school, Eri studied health policy at the Yale School of Public Health, where she wrote her master’s thesis on social policy solutions to Nigeria’s maternal mortality crisis. She graduated with a B.A. from Yale College.
